As the winter transfer window comes closer and closer Everton are being linked with more and more potential transfers. According to multiple reports emanating from England, Everton are linked with a move for Empoli left-back Fabiano Parisi.

Parisi has been at Empoli since 2020 when he joined from Avellino. The 22-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

The left-back has banged in two goals in 14 Serie A matches for Empoli this term.

The 22-year-old has long been touted as one of Italy’s most promising young talents. Parisi has represented Italy at Under-21 level, winning 7 caps.

However, Everton will have to balance the books before attempting to land Fabiano Parisi. Considering they don’t have a big budget, Everton will have to be smart with the signings in the transfer window. It would take a huge offer from them to prise the 22-year-old left-back from Empoli.

Empoli would be wise to keep the Italy international, but if they do let him go expect it to be for a hefty sum.

Good signing for Everton?

The Premier League side need to add more depth to their defense and the 22-year-old would be a good signing.

Fabiano Parisi has all the skillset required to be a success story at Everton. Therefore, it makes sense for Frank Lampard to step up his attempts to bring the Italian left-back to Premier League side.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit at Goodison Park.
