To sign him, they could activate his €40million (£35m) release clause. There may even be a chance for Veiga to move for less than that amount. Real Madrid and Arsenal are also interested in the Celta Vigo player.”

Celta Vigo feel under no pressure to sell and will “demand a significant fee” before letting him go.

The English giants are showing interest in signing midfielder, but will have to dig deep to land him.

Good signing for Liverpool?

If Veiga is available for the right price, then he could be a clever acquisition for Liverpool.

A midfielder of Veiga’s ceiling will be a massive addition to Liverpool squad as he will not only improve the overall quality of Klopp’s starting XI but also add some stability and variety to his midfield department.
