Gianluca Scamacca’s time at West Ham could soon end as a whole host of clubs are lining up to sign him. The reports in Italy suggested that Juventus are poised to land West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca.

Scamacca joined West Ham from Sassuolo for a fee in the region of 36 million euros in 2022. His contract expires in the summer of 2027.

The striker has registered seven goals in 26 matches this season on all fronts. He has also represented the Italy at various youth levels before going on to secure nine senior caps for his country thus far.

The Italy international striker has struggled to adapt to English football and he could be made available this summer.

Massimiliano Allegri wants to sign a new striker and Scamacca is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. Someone with Gianluca Scamacca’s skillset and potential will no doubt be an excellent signing for Juventus boss.

The former Sassuolo man will add a new dimension to Juventus’s attack.

According to the report, “Juventus are to make a new bid to sign West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca this summer. Juve will go for Scamacca if Dusan Vlahovic or Moise Kean leave. He has endured a difficult time since joining West Ham from Sassuolo last year and Juventus are long-term admirers of the Italy international. La Gazzetta dello Sport says Scamacca is a key target for Juventus if they need to bring in a new striker. Juventus have tried to sign Scamacca twice previously, firstly when Fabio Paratici was director of football and then under his successor Federico Cherubini.”

The Italian giants might have to pay over the odds to sign the striker.

West Ham are preparing to sell their striker should they receive a massive offer for him.

Good signing for Juventus?

If Juve are able to negotiate a deal with West Ham to sign Scamacca, it could be a fantastic opportunity for them. Scamacca will be an ideal choice for Massimiliano Allegri as he ticks all the right boxes in terms of what he demands from his attackers.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit at Allianz Stadium.

It will be interesting to see where the player ends up this summer.
