The 29-year-old has been with Atalanta since 2019, having signed for the club from Genk for 13.6 million euros. He is under contract at Atalanta until the end of this campaign.

The midfielder has banged in one goal and provided two assists in 14 games this term on all fronts.

He is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Ukraine. Malinovskyi has also left his mark at the international stage after netting 7 goals in 51 senior appearances for the Ukraine national team.

Given that his contract is expiring soon and he has not yet signed an extension, the rumors have only heated up in recent weeks.

However, Atalanta will not consider a temporary deal. That seemingly leaves West Ham in pole position to swoop for the 51-cap international.”

The Hammers will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Malinovskyi to join the club.

Atalanta are not open to loaning him out and are only interested in selling him for a straight cash deal.
