It is an open secret that Everton need to sign a striker. According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Everton will look to sign Udinese striker Beto.

The Portugal international joined Udinese from Portimonense for a fee in the region of 7 million euros in July 2022. His contract expires in the summer of 2026.

The striker has banged in seven goals and provided two assists in 22 matches this term on all fronts.

Beto will be high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Udinese this term.

Adding a striker remains Everton’s top priority this summer and Sean Dyche will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming months. The Portugal international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of striker Dyche wants to target in the summer transfer window.

The former Portimonense man provides a unique blend between a classic center-forward and the modern striker. He is a good finisher in front of the opposition’s goal and has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates on the attacking third of the field.

World Football Rumours

According to the report, “Everton are being linked to another move for Udinese forward Beto. The 25-year-old was a target for the Goodison Park club in January, but no deal materialized. Reports in Italy state that Beto is once again a Toffees target for the summer. If the club stays in the Premier League, they will make a significant offer to Udinese.”

The Italian club feel under no pressure to sell and will “demand a significant fee” before letting him go.

Everton have to fork out a huge transfer fee if they are genuinely interested in the Portugal international.

A striker of Beto’s ceiling will be a massive addition to Everton squad as he will not only improve the overall quality of Sean Dyche’s starting XI but also add some stability and variety to his attacking department.
