Juventus spent 20.5 million euros to sign the United States international from Schalke 04 in the summer of 2021. Schalke could earn an additional 4.5 million euros through bonus payments and performance-based add-ons. He is under contract at Juventus until the summer of 2025.

The midfielder has registered three goals and one assist in 16 matches this season on all fronts.

The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in United States. His record for United States is impressive. McKennie has scored 9 goals in 41 matches for United States at senior level.

The United States international midfielder has struggled to adapt to Italian football and he could be made available this winter.

If Liverpool can agree on a fee with Juventus, the deal should be easy to complete.
