The Germany international joined Borussia Dortmund from FC St. Pauli on a free transfer in July 2016. He is under contract until the end of this campaign.

FFP constraints are set to slow Newcastle’s spending plans following their takeover by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund last year.“
