The upcoming summer will see Internazionale improving their defensive department. According to multiple reports emanating from Italy, Inter are considering a move for Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah.

He has five years left on his current contract which expires in 2028.

The centre-back has featured in 19 matches for Chelsea this term in all competitions.

The 23-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in England. Chalobah has represented England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 53 caps and scoring three goals.

The club are looking to replace Milan Skriniar, who is likely to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.”

The Blues are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the centre-back, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

Considering they don’t have a big budget, Inter will have to be smart with the signings in the transfer window. They might have to pay over the odds to sign the centre-back.
